Jim is a native of Rock Springs and a lifelong sheep rancher in southwestern Wyoming. He has served as President of the American Sheep Industry Association and President of the National Public Lands Council. He has represented agriculture on numerous national, state and local councils and advisory boards. Prior to assuming the position of Executive Vice President of WSGA, he served as Director of the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Jim took over the reins at WSGA in December of 1998.

Susan Skinner

Office Manager

Originally from Iowa, Susan relocated to Cheyenne in 2018 from Los Angeles, where she worked as a parish administrator and the administrative coordinator for the Westside Shelter & Hunger Coalition. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University Northridge in Cinema and Television Arts, and an Associate of Arts degree in film from Santa Monica College. Susan is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force as she served with the American Forces Radio & Television Services.

Trenda Allen

Communications, Publications and Programs Director

Trenda is a native of Casper, and has been a resident of Cheyenne for 25 years.  Her background includes communications and marketing that involves radio and television production, print and social media, outreach and event planning.  She graduated with two Associate degrees in Merchandising/Marketing and Communications/ Journalism from Casper College.  She attended Arizona State University to study broadcasting at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.  She also majored in Social Science at the University of Wyoming.
