Jim Magagna

Jim is a native of Rock Springs and a lifelong sheep rancher in southwestern Wyoming. He has served as President of the American Sheep Industry Association and the National Public Lands Council and has represented agriculture on numerous national, state, and local councils and advisory boards. Before assuming the position of Executive Vice President of WSGA, he served as Director of the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Jim took over the reins at WSGA in December 1998.

Originally from Iowa, Susan relocated to Cheyenne in 2018 from Los Angeles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge in Cinema and Television Arts and an Associate of Arts degree in film from Santa Monica College. Susan is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, as she served with the American Forces Radio & Television Services. Susan has been with WSGA since August 2018.

Anna Holley

Marketing and Communications Director

Originally from Northern Nevada, Anna has strong personal ties to the beef cattle industry and a deeply rooted passion for serving ranchers. She holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Communications from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Equine and Ranch Management from Feather River College. While earning her master’s degree, Anna conducted research focusing on beef cattle producers in the Intermountain West and their perceptions of industry representation.
