Title: WSGA Extends a Thank You to Generous Sponsors for the 2018 Environmental Stewardship Tour

CHEYENNE – The Environmental Stewardship Tour hosted by the Wyoming Stock Growers Association (WSGA) and the Wyoming Department of Agriculture would not have been possible without the help of generous sponsorship. This year, the tour was held in Glendo, WY at the Cundall Ranch, owned and operated by Larry and Ruthie Cundall. The tour took place on June 27. The tour consisted of four educational stops on the ranch, an awards presentation, lunch, dinner and live music performed by Trinity Seely of Montana. There were approximately 200 people in attendance.

Sponsors of the event had the opportunity to be classified as a Stewardship Hero, Stewardship Champion, Stewardship Advocate or Stewardship Friend according to the amount of their donation. Donations were put towards costs of the event and putting together an exciting, educational experience for all in attendance. Sponsors of the event included: Wyoming Game and Fish Commissioners, Audubon Society, Farm Credit Services of America, Wyoming Livestock Roundup, First State Bank, Wyoming Natural Resource Foundation, Platte Valley Bank, First Interstate Bank, Smylie Animal Clinic and AgRisk Advisors.

The WSGA would like to remind everyone that nominations for next year’s Environmental Stewardship Award are now open. Nomination applications are due to the WSGA Office by September 21.  You can find more information by visiting, calling the office at (307) 638-3942 or by emailing
